RICHARD A. STALVEY, CPA

Richard A. Stalvey serves as Chairman of the firm's Accounting and Auditing Department.  Richard is an active participant as a team captain in the peer review programs of the American Institute of CPA's, various state societies and Accountant’s Global Network – North America.  He joined the firm in 1971 and became a shareholder in 1979.  

Mr. Stalvey performs a wide range of services including accounting and auditing, tax planning and preparation, estate planning, small business consulting, mergers and acquisitions, services to specialized industries, financial mediation and receiverships.  Mr. Stalvey is a 1971 graduate of Valdosta State College with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Accounting.

Richard is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and the Georgia Society of CPA’s.  He is currently serving on the Georgia Society of CPA’s Peer Review Executive Committee, and on the Business Alumni Advisory Board of the Harley Langdale, Jr. School of Business of Valdosta State University.  He is a member of the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce and the Valdosta Rotary Club.
